Course Objectives
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the latest winter maintenance practices, equipment and materials. It has been designed to complement the training requirements for salt management plans.

Who Should Attend
Technicians and technologists and others responsible for salt management plans, winter maintenance supervisors, patrollers, equipment operators, mechanics, and contract employees.

Passing Grade:  65%

Accreditation
This course is recognized by:
•    This course may be used toward the requirements of the CRS-Intermediate (CRS-I) level.
•    This course may be used as credit for technical specialist programs only. Please contact OACETT to ensure that this course satisfies your particular examination program for certification. Point Value = 2
•    The Engineering Institute of Canada awards 1.8 Continuing Education Units to this course.

Note: All reservations must be accompanied by a one nights’ room and tax deposit, in the form of a major credit card or by the organization. Horseshoe Resort will not hold any rooms unless a deposit has been made at the time of reservation. The balance of the attendee’s full stay total is due 7 days prior to arrival date. You have up until 7 days prior to arrival to cancel or change the reservation. The entire amount payable to Horseshoe Resort is earned in full as of that date. If the reservation is cancelled after that date or the guest’s stay is shortened; all amounts paid to Horseshoe Resort will be non-refundable.

RESORT FEE

Please note that Resort fee charges are not included in the above rates. Horseshoe Resort applies a 9% Resort Fee (RF) on accommodation

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Every effort is made to accommodate guests arriving before the check-in time, however, rooms may not be immediately available. Check-out time is 11:00 am.

If the rooms are not ready at the time of check-in Horseshoe Resort will make every effort to

secure the luggage and assist the client. Requests to retain rooms beyond that hour should be

directed to the Front Desk once the delegate is registered.
