Online Course Schedule

This self-paced online course offers flexibility, allowing you to progress through each module at your own pace. With 24/7 access, you can tailor your learning schedule to suit your preferences and location.

This course will take up to 20 hours to complete. The course content will be available to you from November 4th, 2024 to April 31st, 2025, providing ample time for comprehensive learning and review.

Online Course Structure

This online course features a structured format comprising lesson content delivered through text and instructional videos, complemented by interactive activities and a downloadable PDF copy of a student workbook. While there is no real-time interaction with an instructor, participants have the option to reach out via email for any questions or clarification.

Online Course Location

Online courses take place on the Good Roads education website hosted through D2L Brightspace.

If you have never taken a Good Roads online course. you will be sent a username and link to set your password. This will not be the same username and password that you use on the main Good Roads website.

Who Should Attend

Technicians and technologists and others responsible for salt management plans, winter maintenance supervisors, patrollers, equipment operators, mechanics, and contract employees.

Accreditation

  • This course may be used toward the requirements of the CRS-Intermediate (CRS-I) level.
  • This course may be used as credit for technical specialist programs only. Please contact OACETT to ensure that this course satisfies your particular examination program for certification. Point Value = 2
  • The Engineering Institute of Canada awards 1.8 Continuing Education Units to this course.
